Such a lovely restaurant - came here for my birthday and had a great experience. Particular menu highlights were the pizza dough, Xian Xian noodles and the cabbage but everything was delicious (the only thing that I probably wouldn’t order again was the pho). They also did an amazing smoky Mezcal cocktail, and lovely mini peanut buns for dessert. Service was very attentive and it’s a lovely setting too with glass walls all around. Best vegan restaurant I’ve ever been to!
Had a great meal in Alter after work. The place was a little tricky to find but it was very nicely designed inside once we were in.
The menu didn’t have huge amounts of information on it but the staff were very helpful in telling us what was what, so just ask if you have any questions.
If you go here, you HAVE to order the pizza dough. It’s absolutely delicious, I’m still craving it a week later!
For the mains, I’d really recommend ordering the steamed buns with the plates. We ordered 3 different options plus the 4 buns and they were great for mixing and matching the food together.
The only thing I didn’t rate was the crackers as a starter and I personally wasn’t a big fan of any of the cocktails.
Overall a great experience and I would highly recommend!
I didn't have much expectation coming here but I was pleasantly surprised as a non vegan. We came for lunch and between the two of us, we shared the charred cabbage curry (really good flavour), xian style knife cut noodles (good kick and flavour) and the burmese tea leaf sticky rice salad (not bad). The lychee martini was also very good.
