Their Revolver is the best steak i've ever had. Also, sitting by the bar and just seeing how the steaks are cooked.... Perfect "show" :)

Absolutely great experience. Wanted to go for a while and finally had a perfect occasion to book. My friend has been vegetarian for 3 years and wanted to go back to eat meat and Macellaio has been the perfect spot for it. She's from Tuscany and she almost cried for how good the food was when she took a bite. Big praise to the staff as well, which was very lovely and attentive. Final note: considering some reviews I read, I would like to say that we found the prices very fair, considering quality of the ingredients, general restaurant price in London and in particular the central location of the restaurant. Also portions are absolutely not small as someone mentioned.

Came at 3 pm, so service was a little sparse which was understandable. The food was surprisingly good. Halal steak was perfect. Sides were tasty. They made the broccoli taste better than their roast potatoes. Not an easy feat. Highly recommended eating here. Yes it's a little pricey, but the location warrants the price.

Amazing London entertaining experience with lovely food, staff and vibrant London view from the window. We were luckily allocated window side! We ordered starter, main, side and three dessert for two, and all that food arrived at the best time. Also, they showed making tartar and tiramisu in front of us like shows, it was really nice. Great for any occasions such as business, birthday, family and friends.

We walked in off the street without any expectations and were blown away by the food and attentive staff. A wonderful place for a pre theatre dinner in London’s West End!

Food is just another level here. Only the best quality. Always. Anytime. Service can be different, if you got the right waiter or waitress that is passionate and know how to recommend you at the best, you’ll hit the jackpot! Always the right choice. The best of londons’ macellaio. We’re regular and will be till our time in London will be over. Well done

My oh my.... if you LOVE steak do yourself a favor and visit Macellaio in Soho!! It was the most succulent steak that I've ever had. The different cuts were brought to the table and we were given a brief explanation of each. Pricey but you get what you pay for. It's worth every dime! There are sides but the steaks are definitely the star here!!! Loved it!

went to try the halal t bone steak, on a busy friday night. service was good throughout. the steak was great, but not the best i’ve tried. you could tell it was dry aged for a long time from the rich flavour, but it was still a level below other top level argentine or wagyu (halal) steaks. for £60 all in including miscellaneous sides and service fee it’s a decent price especially in central london

We visited the place with my daughter for dinner. The food was great, very tasty! very beautiful cosy atmosphere.. we sat in a window overlooking the street !! it was very nice... the person in charge, an interesting Italian, knew the job very well and gave us an accurate description of all the meats! We didn't order from the aged meat because the pieces were big for me and my daughter! we ordered two other smaller pieces! we will definitely be back.
