Enjoyed our meal at Royal Mahal! Waiters were very attentive and food came out fairly quickly! The Dynamite Prawns were nice and crunchy, packed with flavour. The nihari had tender meat and was quite nice. Unfortunately, the biryani didn’t taste fresh and the chicken was quite dry.
My family and I recently visited Royal Mahal Restaurant in Tooting on a weekend, and we had a wonderful time. We started with their famous Masala Fish and Chicken Wings, both of which were absolutely delicious. The fish was perfectly cooked and the masala sauce was flavorful and spicy, but not too hot. The chicken wings were also crispy and juicy, and the sauce was tangy and sweet.
For our main course, we ordered the Lamb Karahi. This dish is a speciality of the restaurant, and it did not disappoint. The lamb was tender and flavorful, and the sauce was rich and complex. We also ordered a side of naan bread to soak up all the delicious sauce.
The service at Royal Mahal was also excellent.
Our waiter was friendly and attentive, even though the restaurant became very busy very quickly. He made sure that we had everything we needed, and he even helped us choose the perfect dishes to order.
We have been going to Royal Mahal for several years now, and the food quality has always been excellent. We have never had a bad meal at this restaurant. We highly recommend Royal Mahal to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Indian meal.
Special thank you to the staff:
We want to give a special thank you to Aslam Khan & Anjali the staff at Royal Mahal for making our dining a very memorable and amazing experience!
Great restaurant, really recommend. So many dishes and drinks to choose from and all the ones we tried were really good. Prawn dynamite, chicken balti, mixed grill and the wide selection of naans were the top favourites.Really nice service too, our waiter Salam was very welcoming and friendly. Perfect restaurant to go with the family or even alone, the decor is beautiful and food plus service matches the high quality standard.
Great food at very reasonable price. Vast menu to cover meat eaters and non meat eaters. Samosas were delicious as was the onion bhajis. Atmosphere and decor is very traditional of an Indian restaurant. Seating is comfortable - note no alcohol allowed. These non alcoholic cocktails were brilliant.
This is a great location for a posh curry. Amazing food and value. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Lots of choice and delicious options for vegetarians as well as those who like their meaty options. Buzzing atmosphere and lots of local bars and dessert options near by.
