The linguine with clams and the meatballs with lemon were very good, the scallops incredibly good, Federico's service impeccable, I will always go back
We were taken for our first visit to Citro by friends and I can tell that it won't be our last appearance. The restaurant was absolutely buzzing and we were more than ably assisted by the staff during our visit.
The USP for any restaurant is the quality of its food and I'm glad to say that Citro scores highly. We started by sharing some Garlic Foccacia, that certainly whet the appetite, before I moved on to a Veggie Fisti Pizza. This had a healthy amount of tasty topping and not too much dough which was perfect. To round things off I tried the Blood Orange Sorbet and this was nicely sharp/sweet.
All in all we enjoyed a fine meal out. It was a little hard to hold a conversation at times, because the restaurant was busy and sound tends to bounce off the walls, but that's my only complaint. In all other respects Citro was great.
Delicious pizza!!! We got take out on a Friday which took an hour, but it was worth the wait!
After a nice walk on Hampstead, and watching sunset, Citro is the right address to have the joy of italian cuisine in North London. One of the most cozy, warm atmosphere with the food made with love and care about every detail. Salvatore and his brother’s delicious Pasta, dessert and pistachio liquor was just fantastic and exceeded all our expectations. Highly recommend that place for a night out to remember…!!!
I went to this place tonight with my hubby booked a table last minute so was lucky to get a table for 2 🤗 we both had the calamari for starters it was OK, then the crab pasta was very delicious followed by the panacotta with half a baked fig it would of been even better with a whole fig.
Hubby had the tiramisou was OK.
The staff were lovely especially salvadoro and stephania all in all had a lovely evening and looking forward to trying all the rest of the menu soon..
