Boulevard Jazz Club buzzes with a unique vibrancy, offering two separate concerts, one on the main floor and another tucked away downstairs. This dual experience gives the club a dynamic energy that music enthusiasts can appreciate. However, it may come off as a tad soulless for those seeking a more classic, lived-in jazz club ambiance. The club's spanking new look, devoid of the traditional jazz patina, leaves a sense of something missing in its wake.
Musically, Boulevard is good. The performances were fantastic, bringing alive the essence of jazz in a way that resonates with the audience. Whether you're a jazz aficionado or a casual listener, the music is sure to touch a chord.
The cocktails, although not the highlight, were decent enough. What truly stood out was the staff's prompt and friendly service, adding a spark of warmth to the whole experience.
Overall, Boulevard Jazz Club presents a decent proposition for jazz lovers. While it may not exceed high expectations in terms of ambiance and cocktails, the top-notch music and excellent service make it a place worth visiting for any jazz enthusiast.
Love everything about this magical jazz venue. The venue itself is relaxing and comfortable whilst still being elegant. The musicians who play there are all hugely talented. The staff are friendly and efficient giving excellent customer service. Every visit there is a night to remember. Thank you to everyone who works and plays there. See you again soon.
A Lovely intimate jazz venue with amazing ambience and acoustics. It's actually a recording studio and was renovated from the old Raymond Review Bar.
I've enjoyed every visit and have yet to sample the food.
They do need to serve the beer in full size glasses tho 🤔
Super fun. Great atmosphere. Did have a fair amount of people walking past our seats (stalls) getting drinks throughout the show so might be worth getting there early to grab a seat further in or to get seats in the balcony or central area.
