Pophama is a lovely place for a top brunch, during weekends you need to be prepared to queue for a while. Pastries are the best, toasties are really nice too, strawberry salad top notch and the coffee is amazing. The space is big and really nice decorated but can be very busy on weekends. Staff are friendly and service is quick and relatively quick considering the amount of people on weekends.

Completely blown away by these pastries. The californian girl taking orders was the perfect person for this job. Felt like visiting a friend I didn't know I had. The tomato olive and feta danish was amazing. Hitting all flavours and texture with ease. Also, the laminated dough is brilliant. I'll definitely make the trip again

Huge selection of pastries. Really enjoyed the fig leaf custard. Many seatings and atmosphere was great. Pastries were a bit too dark and dry to my liking. But would recommend.

Wide variety of pastries, tried different ones in this location and others and like every so one of them. The chocolate king is super delicious, croissant and au pain chocolate is really good and the marmites and spring onions is delicious too. The coffee her is really good as well. Customer service in this branch is good and the place is big and spacious.

My tastebuds had an orgasm. The soy glazed sausage and mango salsa sandwich was incredible, it was so unique and the bread was so soft and dreamy. Their pasty is honestly to die for. This is my new favourite cafe and I will be a regular 🤩 I hope they can one day open a branch in south London or south east London 🫣 @gingerthattravels for more food content if you want some inspiration 🤩

Pastry with How I wish there were many more pophams bakeries around London. Yes the pastries are quite pricey but each bite is definitely worth every pence. There are a few bakeries that make bread as good as Pophams, so that definitely says a lot. For those that are yet to explore the pophams experience, your certainly in for a treat!

I had one of the best baked goods in my life here a few weeks back. Also their lunch! It was seriously sensational. Will definitely visit again and again to try everything on the menu.

First time visiting and definitely won’t be the last. Came at 1pm on a busy bank holiday but found a seat inside the beautiful bakery. Service was really quick despite how busy it was. We had the sausage sandwich with mango salsa and slaw, the bacon and maple pastry and a pain au chocolat. All I can say is come hungry - the portions are rugby player sized. Pricing was very decent, coffee is great, pastry is incredible, it’s dog friendly and the vibe was warm and friendly. What’s not to love!!

Superb Staff. Give them all a raise - they truly make the place and atmosphere. Have to start off with a massive thank you to the staff here, I left behind my card, they called same night to inform me of this. They had it ready for my collection. All really efficient and so well done. Our waitresses for the evening were superb and knowledgeable! They gave us great information about the menu and all the dishes. Note we had dinner here. As for the food, the sourdough with cultured butter was an absolute treat - I really enjoyed it. The stuffed courgette flowers again were good, the chilli was very mild. Pastas - were good! I would advise 4 between 2 people, I think the 3 dishes between 2 people left us a touch hungry. As a vegetarian, there were three options. Each were good. Spoja Lorda was a light and fresh tomato based pasta. The Triangoli was good, but possibly a bit too acidic for my liking, especially when the chilli was lacking (was probably the least favourite of my dishes). The best of the three was the Cannelloni - which was fantastic and super interesting. A MUST have dish in my opinion. The drinks were great. All in all, a great choice for dinner.

Pophams is a gorgeous little cafe and bakery on a quiet street. A stylish combination of industrial and scandi design inside, the atmosphere is welcoming, if a little loud due to poor acoustics. However much of the noise can be attributed to the place’s popularity. This is almost certainly a result of the quality of baked goods and food available. I had baba ganoush on sourdough and it was absolutely gorgeous - the bread was every bit as good as it ought to be! My friend had a fig pastry which she said was perfect and very instagrammable if you like a nice, tasteful food pic. Given the area of London Pophams is in, and it’s popularity, it would be great if they added one or two further plant based options, as these could be enjoyed by everyone and make the bakery worth a revisit for those who don’t eat animal products. Coffee pretty nice also.

By far the best place in London for pastries! My favorite ones are the bacon and maple roll and the choc king, but they also have weekend specials which are super creative and simply delicious!

- cardamom bun £4.90 - apricot and vanilla bean danish £6.50 even though there was a queue, it was fast-moving so it didn’t take us long to be seated - they also have seats outside which would be lovely on a warm sunny day. their small, but mighty, cardamom bun boasted a golden brown colour with many many layers of lamination. it was subtly sweet and as someone who isn’t crazy about spices in baked goods, the cardamom and cinnamon were not overpowering at all! the weekend special danish was filled with polenta cake, crème pâtissière and an apricot; similarly, it was not too sweet, even with all those components. they were even served on warmed plates, which really elevated the experience! these are on the pricier side for mere pastries, particularly bc they are quite small too, but they are made with lots of care and using high quality ingredients.

Tasty pastries! The marmite and leek cheese wheel warmed up was divine! Absolutely recommend! The strawberry salad was perfectly dressed, not tangy and not overly sweet. The service is also friendly :)

Quality of food was phenomenal, came here for pasta dinner and it was amazing. The gnocchi was so light and fluffy and melted in the mouth, the cappellacci was beautiful so many different flavour profiles and a great sauce. Finally the rhubarb crumble croissant pudding was flaky, tart and sweet and a great way to end the meal. Staff were super friendly and service was great. Would definitely recommend and will be back to try an updated menu!
