Amazing food! Great service! The owner is lovely,friendly, and approachable. Popped in for breakfast and it was amazing. I will be coming back to try the lunch menu.
The only exception to Hackney’s gentrification because the service was just so warm and not a split image repeat of the new food shops around here. Rest of the new shops should follow suit!
I asked to have the mushroom focaccia sandwich but with added chicken, and they were able to do so- no questions asked. Tasted great, hefty portion- boyfriend loved it too. Nice chat whilst waiting and just in general hospitality is what makes such a short visit, a day much better :’)
The Veggi sandwich was the best sandwich I have ever tasted. I visited yesterday and have been thinking about it since. 5 starts for the sandwich! I visited at lunch time and the shop was fairly busy however there were plenty of empty seats. I’m not sure if they were short staffed as most of the empty tables had not yet been cleared or cleaned. I wanted to eat in however noticed the additional charge for customers eating in and opted for take away as during the cost of living crisis every saving counts! There was a wait for my sandwich which I didn’t mind and the member of staff was very apologetic about this (it was worth the wait). I will 100% visit again.
By far the best sandwiches we’ve ever had, so good we had to come back to get some to bring back to Devon for my youngest daughter to try! Compliments to the chef!

If you’re in Hackney and looking for a bite to eat, I’d absolutely recommend popping in and treating yourself.

Great spot for a lunch in Hackney Central.
Varied options of Focaccia sandwich, very good quality of ingredients and kind service.
I tried 3 other but the nduja, mortadella, mozzarella and rocket and was my favourite from all the ones I tried from the party I went there with.
Also good coffee to top it up.
