I was in service and felt like some pizza for lunch, so took a stroll down Broadway.
I stumbled upon Rustica Pizzeria. The reviews seemed stable, so thought I’d give them a go. A bonus was that they do a lunchtime menu!
I opted for the diavlo (I think), which is basically a margarita with salami and jalapeños.
The pizza was absolutely delicious. It was cooked beautifully, from the light and thin base being both soft yet crispy, to the well cooked and cheesy toppings - they were balanced well, as it didn’t feel or taste overwhelming.
The portion of the pizza was healthy; it was of real quality, too.
The establishment is quite spacious with a nice layout - an open cooking area, so you can witness the masterpiece prepared before you.
The staff are pretty friendly and helpful, making recommendations and engaging with customers pleasantly.
If you are a local and like pizza, it’s a no brainer to check out Rustica Pizzeria. As much as I will be in the future, I’m more intrigued to test the pasta! 9/10.
The food is one of the best Italian we have ever had. We went once just to try and now it is our go to place for Italian food. The garlic bread is a must have there.
Ordered for collection, pizza was ready on time and made fresh. Tasted lovely! Restaurant itself is small but looks bright and clean, will definitely be returning again!
