My partner and I went there last night and were treated with a delightful menu of seasonal British produce with a twist on herbs some of which we hadn’t known before. Staff were attentive, enthusiastic and shared a good knowledge of the menu which made the dining experience even more pleasurable.
There is a choice of sharers, starters and mains. Not to forget the desserts too lovingly paired with a dessert wine to match the fine flavours. All beautifully presented and tasted amazing.
The restaurant is located 2 floors down from street level (accessible but stairs or lift) and has a beautiful ambience of brick work and earthy tones. Only slight downside is there wasn’t enough lighting I believe to give the food the attention it needs especially as it has been presented so beautifully.
There is also a great bar area if you need to come in just for drinks with good choices of wines and cocktails.
A true hidden gem. Superb food, a menu of elegant crowd pleasers. Great cocktails - the fig americano was a real winner. Superb British wines, some made in London itself. The only surprise is that it isn't more crowded tbh
We went after it had been open for about three weeks and loved it. Beautiful cocktails, lovely tasteful interior and lighting. The food was gorgeously presented and tasted wonderful. Fresh and seasonal with a twist, the oysters, mackerel, scallop and beef were our favourites. All topped off with friendly, attentive and informative service.
