The Wenlock and Essex, in a bold move, have dropped the infamous '30 Burger' from the menu in favour of the new 'Triple Steak Burger'. The new burger, which first made it’s appearance at last months 'Burger vs Burger' event , is a feat of culinary engineering, collaborated on by some genius chefs, both local and international. It is simply amazing. This burger attacks on three flavour fronts at once, leaving your mouth in a state of orgasmic bliss. The blend of three cuts of steak is beautiful to say the least and has my mouth watering as I write this. The special burger sauce’s tanginess is exciting on the tongue and adds a sharp edge to the juicy meat. This sharpness is counter balanced perfectly with a beetroot chutney with a sweetness that has the “residual taste memory” of my mouth doing backflips. The burger gets it’s name from the blend of three steaks that make up it’s patty. 30-day-aged cuts of rump, sirloin and rib-eye are ground down and united to create a fantastic tast
The flavour in this patty is pure quality, but the really magnificent thing is the juices that flow from every bite. Every chew of the burger you are hit with flavoursome juices from the patty, it nearly makes chewing redundant its that juicy. I'm not sure if its the fat content or the quality and variety of cuts used but whatever it is, keep doing it.
