Place Ladywell is the home of the Rushey Green Timebank, the premier volunteer recruitment outfit in Lewisham. It is also the home of an excellent seamstress

Having had a desk here for about a year I can attest that the people here are lovely.
There are also some hidden gems of shops such as the haberdashery and the furniture showroom (weirdly called Instrument).
If you need a workspace that you can access 24/7 (no sleeping!) and don’t mind a slightly industrial/plywood feel then get signed up.
The only shame is the closure of Jimmy’s cafe which used to offer discounts as well. Hopefully it’ll be re-opened soon but didn’t really have the natural footfall which is probably why.
