This place makes some of the best pasta I’ve ever had. The carbonara and creamy mushroom are amazing. It’s a bit on the pricey side for pasta that comes in a cardboard bowl but looking forward to work my way through this menu while bojo is covering half the bill.
Yes we’d had some drinks but this place was amazing! The food was incredible! Very reasonably priced - if anything it’s pretty cheap - and shout out to Jimi (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) who was the best host and chose our meal for us
This new spot at Flat Iron Square is a gem! For starters we tried the mozzarella stuffed courgette tempura, which may not have looked particularly elegant but tasted outrageous, especially with the tomatoey sauce. We also had the carbonara tonnarelli and the meat ravioli with truffle oil. I’m typically not a fan of carbonara as I deter from overly creamy or cheesy dishes HOWEVER La Nonna’s carbonara has succeeded in converting me. This carbonara maintained the perfect level of richness and the smoked pancetta was beaut. The ravioli was so simple yet so delicious- which I think sums up most items on the La Nonna menu. To round off this foodie feast, we indulged in the Nutella mini doughnuts that I am still currently dreaming about- thiccc oozing nuggets of gorgeousness. This is a must-visit if you’re looking for simple, fresh and flavourful pasta in London with a groovy atmosphere. What’s even better is that they offer a 20% student discount.
