The food here is excellent, don't let the rather run down appearance of the place put you off.
The food was nice, especially the meat kashmir dish. We also got quite big portions. My wife and I loved it!

I live in the local area, and have been ordering my Vegetable Dhansak and pilau rice from Royal Docks Tandoori for the past 17 years.
I've tried many many other places and the food is the usual bengali over cooked over greasy brown slop, hence I now exclusively use Royal Docks Tandoori.
My partner is a head chef in a high end City restaurant and as a rule will NEVER eat meat dishes from tandoori takeaways due to the appalling food hygiene most of them have.
But the Royal Docks Tandoori is the exception to the rule where she will order chicken based dishes, although she usually orders their vegetable Korma as it is so delicious.
The royal Docks garlic Naan bread is also lovely and never dry.
The Pilau rice is moist and well flavoured.
The little guy that owns the place is great too. He is always friendly if we go to pickup on one of their half price days, and if my food is delivered, it is usually him with a smile at my door within 30 minutes.
Not just the best vegetarian Indian food in my area, but the ONLY one I will now use.
No Dehli belly if you order from Royal Docks Tandoori.
