After a recent visit I was sad to discover a lapse in customer service, however this was on a busy Saturday so I won't hold klit against them. Outstanding coffee, perfect customer service, love that they have fruit ice lollies during the summer, and their muffins are fantastic. I've uploaded a picture so you can see how it's also aesthetically pleasing, making the whole experience delightful and exactly the type of cafe more streets need. One of the true bad points of myself no longer living in London - I don't get to enjoy this wonderful place during Sunday walks.
A little pricey, but the food is exceptional.
I had a salami, emmental, rocket and gherkin sandwich thingy with mustard mayo and it was like a tasty whack in the face. Lovely. Gluten free brownie was lovely despite being gluten free.
Cappuccino was small (but very rich and nice).
It's worth paying more for quality stuff, friendly staff and nice surroundings. Well worth a detour from main streets and big franchises.
This is hands down my favourite coffee spot in London. I can't go without their chilli chocolate mochas for too long - one of the few places that doesn't make them too sweet and uses real cocoa powder. Food also delicious, avocado on toast with tobacco and olive oil is a lunchtime staple. It also helps that the owners and staff are the friendliest people on the planet.
