Today you guys had a Xmas party for care home residents. Food,drink, everything free of charge. I was there for a little bit before I had to go to work but I am so touched by your kindness. Amazing.
Pratts & Payne in Streatham takes it’s name from the sorely missed department store and the infamous Cynthia Payne. It landed in Streatham with a bang a year or so ago, bringing a much needed good pub to the heart of a growing young community. The creation of the Antic group, who are also responsible for other favourites of mine, Balham Bowls Club and the Effra Social to name a few. Like these other pubs the theme is very much vintage at Pratts with a real eclectic mix of furniture and fittings.
A good high street boozer; one of those pubs that seems to go back forever, right back to the yard at the back; a real sun trap the day I visited.
Sport on TV, but the pub is also big enough to avoid it if you want to, plus bar games including darts and table football.
Good beers inc Gipsy Hill Brewery, plus great burgers and tacos
I come here for the quiz nights every Wednesday, very popular and fun! A great selection of beers, the staff are very friendly & definitely a highlight of the place (even though they’ve seemed short staffed recently). Only shortcoming is a tad too overt with promos for the interactive Darts (in my opinion).
Cracking pub, dog friendly, great selection of beers, lovely staff and a nice atmosphere. Skip the spoons next door and give your money to a proper establishment. Darts at the back following a recent renovation is a huge plus.
First night of their new pizza menu and it was incredible!

Great beer/cider selection and friendly staff. Loved a bit of live music on a Friday evening and improved since the last time I was here (and I loved it then too).
