Good wagamama, swift service, needed it for a pre-pub hangover cure and it hit the spot. On the 1st floor, so if you're outside a nice ghost-in-the-shell-esque view of the rest of the restaurant one way, and looks like a nice view of a bit of the market the other way.

Always happy at Wagamama. Great food at a reasonable price.

PRAWN FIRECRACKER - Flavourful to core! It was so rich in its flavours and spices. I actually went back to eat it in the span of 2 days! I love spicy and it was perfect in terms of how hot I like it to be.
But for people with a sweet tooth be careful.
A must visit though.

Wagamama is one of those chains that for me can surpass the typical branch restaurant bland same-ness trap that almost all of them do. The large menu and zingy flavours help in that, and thus far I've not found a branch that has subpar food.
I especially like this one overlooking spitafields market on the weekends, as it allows for some spotting of interesting stalls to check out while having lunch.
Last time I had the chicken & shrimp yakisoba which was delicious.

If you're a big Wagamamma fan, this is the one to go to! I come here on those days when I don't feel like being adventurous, but when I just want to ensure a satisfying meal.

Ambiance: 4.0

Located on the upper floors of the Old Spitalfields Market, it allows you to look down upon the market, its beautiful stalls, people, and products! Lots of light and space, and great if you opt to sit in the outdoor portion of the restaurant.

Food: 3.5

As I said, I come to Wagamamma when I want something decent, tasty, and consistent. I always opt for the spicy chicken ramen, the duck dumplings, or the katsu chicken. I recently tried out their new juices, including a raspberry based one and another with celery, apple and ginger. Both were delicious, sweet, and zingy. That being said, if you're not big on vegetables in your juice, the latter definitely has its recognizable notes of celery!

Service: 3.0

The service here is pretty acceptable, especially if you avoid the busy hours. When Spitalfields is insanely busy, as it often is on Sundays, I avoid this Wagamamma (and all of the market's restaurants for that matter). Overall, I find the staff friendly and efficient.

This branch of Wagamama has a special place in my heart not only because of its amazing location but also because it is very different from the other branches I have been too. Its located on the first floor and as you walk up the stairs you can get the beautiful view of the Spitalfields. There are a range of shops and restaurants located here but my choice is Wagamama.

The size of this restaurants is pretty decent and if you like to sit out and have a view while you eat you can do that too since it even provides outdoor seating. Me and my husband decided to sit inside since it was too cold for me and also because we get more privacy inside. We came at a very odd timing around 4.30pm so it had very few people and was not busy at all. The staff were kind enough to let me choose a table of my choice inside.

We began by ordering few soft drinks and my absolute favorite Miso Soup. The Miso Soup was just the way it should be in taste except for the fact that it didn't had enough Tofu, I felt that they were stingy with it but otherwise it was flavorful and healthy. For our mains I ordered for myself Prawns Firecracker and my husband had Yasai Katsu Curry. I preferred my dish over my husbands. The Prawns Firecracker had a mild spicy flavor and a lot of colorful veggies. The gravy was nice and tangy and went perfectly well with the Rice. The Yasai Katsu Curry was another completely different dish, it was enjoyable and wonderful but my favorite dish here is the Firecracker which is so satisfying for me. Both the dishes were filled with vegetable which made our plate really colorful, as well as healthy and nutritious without compromising on the taste.

The service was a little slow even though there were not many people in there. The quality and quantity was excellent nothing to be complained about that and if you have a taste card you even get a discount on the bill. I had a great time here and if you are also a Wagamama fan you should surely try this branch.

Looking for a great asian food place in London? Run to Wagamama Spitalfields! Place in the old Spitafields market, you feel more than a restaurant experience. You are in a market spirit. Food is so tasty, fresh and well cooked! Each dish is colorful and perfect. Service is quite fast and nice. They welcome you well. So, I let you enjoy your curry ;) "Itadakimasu!"

Like all Wagamamas, Wagamama Spitalfields has a big menu. All menu options are great, and the location is nice. There is an indoor section and a cooler outdoor section, in the second mezzanine level of Spitalfields. It can be a bit hard to find but all staircases will lead you to it.

All the managers and waitress are very supportive and helpful with the menu. Very good service and they give you options to decide what makes you happy to eat on that day! I highly recommended 💪🌺❤
