Probably one of the best pizzas and Olio Piccante I’ve eaten outside of Italy, not speaking of some overpriced microwave pizza spots inside of Italy. The staff was caring and friendly. Will definitely come back.
Grabbing a quick lunch. New autumn menu. Swift, friendly service and great food.
Great food and good service. Will be back to try more of the menu very soon!

Baller place with good and perfect music for the mood that matches the weather. Located 3 minutes walk from the Canary Wharf tube station. Perfect if you're meeting someone around and would like to get a coffee while you wait. Mostly a cafe, turns into a cosy bar on weekends. Costs about 20 pounds for two.

What I can say about Obica is that it serves simple but good food with class. From the salads to the pizzas everything is made with high quality ingredients, which reminds me very much of the Mediterranean way of looking at food.
Downside is the price - despite enjoying my meals and occasional coffees here I feel that it is severely overpriced.
Obicà is a mozzarella bar - as such, most of the menu revolves around those white spheres of deliciousness. Don't expect haute cuisine here, just good simple cooking based on good quality ingredients.
I went for the classic caprese salad (they have two sizes for this). The plain mozzarella was light and fluffy, as it should be, and the sliced tomatoes, of various colours, were lovely too.
For mains, I got the pizza with Tuscan sausage and blu di bufala cheese. This took a short while to arrive (something must have been going on in the kitchen), but when it did arrive, it was very good for a pizza baked in an electric oven. (Given the restaurant's location in the lobby of an office building, I assume it would be difficult to install a wood-fired oven there).
Overall a decent, unpretentious meal.
Great tasting and very large pizzas. I think I almost died trying to force one down my throat the other day. Probably one of the better Italian eateries in Canary Wharf.
I don’t eat a lot of cheese but when I do…. ;) I wanted to eat something that wasn’t a mains portion but still get that ‘filling’ feeling, you know what I mean? I know cheese and bread is not exactly light but the texture of the Stracciatella di burrata is creamy, fresh and the coldness of that paired with the bread is perfect.
I’ve heard their pizzas are good but can’t say as I haven’t tried them…yet! But a Mozzarella Bar is one I like. If you’re craving some good quality mozzarella and nothing else, then make you way to these guys. Find more information on their website
Me and my boyfriend went for a meal at Obica this weekend. The staff were friendly. They topped up water glasses when they were empty. I had a pizza which was really really salty. But other than that the food was amazing. Atmosphere is nice, music in the background. Would recommend going for a meal with your mates or a date night.
The food is simply amazing. The pasta is so fresh and cooked to perfection, the pizza is fabulous and of course, the mozzarella !
This is a favourite in Canary Wharf !
Nice Italian place in CW offering pizza, pasta and mozzarella bar. We tried the Obica experience which was delicious. Yummy dips, bread, and choice of two cheeses. Tiramisu is excellent. Can’t wait to try more.
Thinking of Italian Afternoon Tea in Canary Wharf? Yes, this afternoon tea menu is not the usual one you find on the high street as it comes with an Italian twist! Escape the busy high street London to Canary Wharf, where you can enjoy summer within this Alfresco Terrace with Thames Riverside view. It’s the perfect place for your afternoon well spent especially if you live around the wharf, it’s just a stone throw away.

Unlike many shopping centre eateries that tend to be rather noisy and rush, this Italian diner within the Heron Quays part of the Dockland complex is well insulated against the hustle and bustle of the commuters and the residents of the area.
This is a popular place for business lunch during the week otherwise booking in advance is recommended but not essential. Choose a mozzarella-based starter with the freshly made breads. For the main everything is good but my favourite has to be the pizza that is thin and crispy. The portion of all pizzas is very generous so if you are not very hungry, consider having a starter yourselves but share the pizza with another person, specially if you would like to have room for the desserts.
