Lovely place next to Television Centre. Service was efficient and friendly. Choice of wines was good and at a reasonable price. The menu choices are fairly wide, including small plates. Someone that was with us was gluten intolerant and they catered for her well. I had the fish and chips which was a reasonable £18 , which is cheap for this part of West London. The fish was excellent. Nice crispy batter. Skin had been left on the fish which is normal for this part of the world, but not particularly to my taste. The tartare sauce was home made. Minty pea puree was lovely too. The chips were skin on fries. They were not great to be honest and some were overdone so let the meal down a bit. Very similar to Aldi's skin on fries. However, lovely place and very clean so I would visit again.
Very nice cosy place. We went there for my daughter's birthday treat and we enjoyed it a lot. The cocktails were amazing, looking very delicious and the food portions were big. The overall experience was very pleasant.
I have visited Bluebird mainly for drinks plenty of times before as I live locally, but today the service was definitely one of the best I’ve had in London in a while. I was greeted with a genuine smile and the gentleman who served me was very professional and very kindly spent time having a lovely chat with me even thought they were closing! I really appreciated that and I hope to try their food sometime soon.
