With wine bottles covering almost every wall, this wine shop turns into a cozy, intimate, candle lit date night spot in the evening.
The servers were very friendly and knowledgeable about wine. There was no wine list. We chose our food, and they chose a perfect Barbera to pair with the sliced meat and pastas.
Food wise, the pasta was filling and tasty, but a bit on the pricey side for the portion size. I really liked the starters. The sliced meat and the cod on polenta were the perfect salty starters before getting to our heavier pastas.
Best Italian wine bar in town. Stock many small independent producers not found elsewhere in London. Gorgeous settings and great vibes. Been here with family and friends and always a good time.
I loved the no wine menu and enjoyed the two wines I tried. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and brought out 3 different types of wines to taste each time that we wanted another glass. For food, between the four of us, we shared the pickles, anchovies with bread and butter, onion and potato frittata, bigoli with ink braised cuttlefish, gnocchi with lamb ragu, short pasta with pomodoro and burrata and tiramisu, which were all tasty.
