Good food and very consistent with other locations of hare and tortoise. I was very please with my curry laksa (£14.50) although it came with only 1 prawn.
The venue is not very big but it wasn’t too busy on a Wednesday night at 7:30 pm.
My friend ordered 3 sushi type dishes and it was about £40.
Overall, I was fully satisfied with the experience.

I recently had the opportunity to dine at Hare & Tortoise in Kensington, and I was impressed. I ordered the sushi platter and the vegetable tempura, and both dishes were delicious.
The sushi platter was beautifully presented, and the fish was fresh and flavourful. I particularly enjoyed the nigiri sushi, which was made with a variety of different fish, including tuna, salmon and prawn. The sashimi was also nice, and it was served with a variety of dipping sauces and garnishes.
The vegetable tempura was also very good. The vegetables were lightly battered and fried, and they were perfectly cooked. The tempura was served with a dipping sauce which complemented three tempura well.
Overall, I had a great experience at Hare & Tortoise Kensington. The food was great, the service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious Japanese meal.
