Colbert in London is simply adorable! It's like stepping into a charming French bistro. The ambiance is cozy, and the food is delightful. Perfect for a cute date or a cozy brunch with friends. Highly recommend for a taste of Paris in the heart of London! 🇫🇷❤️
A strong 4 stars for Colbert. They filled the void left by Oriel very well (for those who remember it) and it's consistently good.
Here's what I liked:
• Good service
• The fries
• The bread
• The presentation
• That you'll pretty much always be looked after and get a table even when full. You never wait too long
• Reasonable prices considering the area
• Did I mention the fries?
What I didn't like;
• Not wishing to be a pedant but on the last visit the bread was a let down BUT it was quickly rectified
• The portion size of fries - only because they are so good that I could easily have eaten double
Do I recommend it? YES
Is it good value? YES
Will I return? YES
Came for breakfast and there was no chance of sitting indoors. Wonderful that there was a few free tables outdoors. I enjoyed my breakfast. The lady who served us was courteous and pleasant. Merci beaucoup
A fabulous space, fantastic food. Very attentive staff. We went for a pre-theatre meal and service was timely and food will prepared. The mocktails menu is truly wonderful. Will definitely visit again.
At Colbert Restaurant last night, I had the most delicious Steak Diane, that's on a par with good quality, expertly cooked steak in my home country, SA. My medium rare steak was tender & juicy & perfectly cooked; a bit of food heaven on a plate. Highly recommended.
