A great pub with a friendly atmosphere. The food is fantastic and the local beers are worth discovering. Service was brilliant even when busy and the beer garden allowed us to enjoy the sun whilst it lasted.

The Clarence is my local pub and I've been consistently impressed by the friendly service and local beer selection. The decor is quite fun and makes for an easy place to chill after a long week. The food is pretty good and I was impressed that they gave me a whole avocado last time I showed the waiter the pittly bit of avocado on my sandwich.
The Clarence is very attractive and lively, but not so loud that you can’t hold a conversation on a Saturday night. Plus they have poodle lamps. What’s not to love? The rest of the bar is decent too. It’s been a few months since I visited, but I remember the chips being very very good, and the staff friendly. The Clarence isn’t the type of place you’d travel to Balham for, but if you’re in the area then you could do a lot worse.
A lovely modern pub with a good menu, wide selection of drinks and enough TVs to please the sports crowd. I prefer it on a weeknight when it's a little quieter, as sometimes it can get a little squished on weekends. The staff are really friendly, and their witty twitter account is definitely worth a follow.
Great Pub. Modern in style with a good selection of beers. Budvar dark and light on tap and of course the 'half and half'. Great pizzas from the wood oven with the occasional live DJ make this a fun place. Friendly atmosphere too. go.
