Came here on a Sunday morning in early September, the place was busy but not fully booked. The atmosphere is nice, music not too loud and even inside it’s bright with the front doors / window fully open. My waitress (short blond hair) was really friendly and attentive.
It’s nice that they have not just the standard but a good selection of teas (as someone who doesn‘t drink coffee this is really important to me). It would be great to get a small plate to be able to take out the tea strainer though (as otherwise the tealeaves over brew and don‘t taste that nice anymore).
I had the pancakes which were wonderfully presented. While the garnish was nice, the pancakes itself were too dry and also didn’t taste right for me which was a bit disappointing. I assume it‘s because of the corn flour? It’s nice that they are trying to cater for people who are gluten intolerant, though, so I give them credit for that.
I‘ll surely come back but might go for a different dish (their menu is quite varied after all).
Relaxed atmosphere, good outdoors space and everything you'd like from a brunch menu. As a bonus, it delivers what some vegan places can struggle with... flavour! The green saksuka in particular is so well made, it's worth visiting again and again
Went there on BH Monday 29/08.(First time visiting).
The Spanish girl who served us was lovely (dark, shoulder length hair with glasses!Sorry we didn't catch your name!). She gave us, and ALL the tables next to ours, great service. Big smiles and bubbly personality!! Despite the place being super busy and being the ONLY ONE serving the tables outside!! The food was great!! We had Bombay toastie and Green Shakshuka and both were very lovely!!! (I could have done with a little more harissa on the Green Shakshuka, but that's just a personal preference). 4* as UNFORTUNATELY the iced coffee was very weak and my iced chai tasted of nothing :(
Despite that, I will be coming back and maybe just stick to a hot drink as it is almost the season for it, anyway!
Oh I just wanted to add that the table next to ours complained saying that the waiter had taken the wrong order (which she didn't and I know that for sure as I heard the customer asking for a Mother bowl and not a Loaded acai bowl. But hey, some customer always know best!) and dealt with the situation with great manners and professionalism...also apologising and saying that she hoped they will go back and hoped that her mistake didn't ruin their experience(which I found very sweet as we all know she is not the one who made the mistake :'D). 5* to you Chica!!
