I stumbled on this shop whilst going to visit a relative in hospital. Due to the quality of hospital food , he asked for me to buy him something to eat from any of the local caribbean eatries along the way.. This is always a difficult task with caribbean shops ,as the the choice is usually sad looking fried snapper that is crying to be put back into the sea- Sometimes it is hard being a pescatarian. I was hesitant with the choice order which was; wild salmon served with rice and peas. Further to this I was persuaded by the young lady serving, who convinced me that it would be a worth while experience. I got to Lewisham hospital and hesitantly unwrapped the food for my nephew who had not eaten in a number of days and who was absolutley ravenous. Well... The waft of the food was phenomenal leading me to sample the food for confirmation of what appeared to be fresh well cooked food! This was one of the best West indian food experiences, that I myself have eaten in the last ten years. The customer service was second to none and the food was truly exceptional. I would highly recommend this place, as this unassuming eatery needs to be on the map. Well done to the proprietor/cook for her outstanding cooking. As a vegetarian I would like to request that you experiment with a chick pea curry, rice and peas with a drizzle of mild jerk sauce! This is usually the dish that I have from Jerz in Nunhead Peckham. I am sure you can top this. Well done to you. I will be visting again in a few weeks to meet up with a well known customer of yours, Noel Brown. My nephew is now out of hospital and has already thanked me 5 times already for the excellent foodie experience that he had from your shop. Eat and treat: You are truly living up to your name! I llok forward to this foodie expereince again SOON!

Stumbled upon this place by accident whist needing to go to the ATM on the main road. It's on a located on a quiet residental road so you don't have to worry about getting a ticket by CCTV. I was able to illegally park, eat my food (usually would eat in the car ) and see my car from the horizon. I had the curry chicken and oxtail mixed and said I would have a little bit in the restaurant and take the rest home. I couldn't resist and ate the entire meal as it was too was just delicous. Go for a large meal and choose two meat options as the section is massive and I Couldn't choose one ! The lady who served me had the most impeccable manners i have ever experienced in a caribbean. It's a nice changed that there are also a few table's to sit outside which is a nice touch.
