Local department store run by local people what's not to like... love this shop from top to bottom... every floor has something to offer and it just keeps on getting better... the sales are great too! I just wanted to add to this as I visited the Skylight Restaurant yesterday 10/06/2017 and was very disappointed! Although the people tend to be lovely the restaurant is rather dirty. Where do I begin... Cutlery was filthy. Chairs haven't been washed down for how long? We sat on the sofas and there was food and drink stains everywhere. Floor was dirty food and crumbs everywhere. Cobwebs... I've never seen so many! It's called the Skylight restaurant it was more like cobweb city and not just on the Skylight but all on the wooden trellis that's dotted around. I'm sorry pearsons but I love coming to your department store but the restaurant really lets this down. Please clean your restaurant otherwise you are going to lose your customers!

Me and my friend came into the store looking for a bag for a woman. Espe greeted us and took us around the shop discussing our budget and advising us on colours Styles and brand. She gave us many options in line with our budget and was very patient and helpful. She also suggested items to compliment the bag. Great level of customer service I will definitely be back. Well done Espe
