Excellent food and fantastic staff. A great visit every time, plenty of food for 40 hungry children and their teachers. A great place to relax and eat after a hard days shopping and before s London show. Cannot praise the staff highly enough.
Fancy a fun night out with your mates making pizza? Well, Pizza Express offer an Adult Pizza Making Party. I attended one with a bunch of fellow bloggers at the newly spruced 895 Fulham Road branch. It is set over two floors and the décor is inspired by two of Fulham’s historical characters, designer and potter William De Morgan and explorer, William John Burchell. Warm, dark panelling and crisp bright ceilings provide a beautiful contrast, which enclose a mix of marble and wood tables, a side bar and Pizziaola kitchen space. The night starts with glasses of Prosecco and nibbles of olives, sun-dried tomatoes, dough balls and cheesy garlic bread, before heading downstairs with Chef John and host Maria for some pizza making action.
Decent size/number of tables for the location. We turned up early evening and were lead straight to a table.
Ordered a peroni and a garlic bread with mozzarella, expecting to share one for two of us. The garlic bread was tiny but tasty (they definitely didn’t scrimp on the butter).
I got a giardiniera pizza and my daughter picked a margarita pizza which arrived soon. Lovely pizzas and friendly staff. All in all a good experience.
