Love this pub, very dog friendly too and lovely staff. Food is very good and reasonable prices, with a selection of ales available. Would definitely recommend a visit.
Update: been back many times since this was first written 2 years ago, the food just seems to get better and better if that's possible, but the five of us cleaned our plates yesterday lunchtime.
Main meal was fantastic. Highly recommended. However, when we couldn't eat the apple dessert, because it was flavourless, the waitress was Clearly annoyed by this, and could only keep telling us that a customer nearby had enjoyed theirs. Was given a reduction, but only £3 overall not individually. But don't let this put you off rest of menu, it was genuinely gorgeous (just avoid apple dessert!)
£12.95 for the beed burger. Disappointingly for that lrice it doesn't come with cheese so have to pay extra if you want some. Chips was lovely and the onion rings were surprisingly nice. Orange juice was okay but my partner had a slice of orange and I didn't. Overall good experience.
