Went to the restaurant with my daughter, she is a vegetarian and I'm a meat eater. We both absolutely loved the food, the meal was so full of flavour. The poppadums where really tasty and not oily and even the rice had a nice authentic flavour. Missed my normal Indian side dishes i.e. Onion/mushroom bhaji but this is not a normal Friday night Indian meal. Thoroughly recommended.
Very nice restaurant with friendly staff and wonderful food. All at reasonable price , you couldn't ask for more đź‘Ť
Myself and two friends had lunch here last Thurs (5th Jan), it was very enjoyable, we hadn’t eaten here before so wanted to try it out. The décor of the restaurant is really elegant but welcoming, it was obvious that a lot of thought and money had gone into the interior as well as the food. The gentleman in charge was very friendly and accommodating and was willing to change dishes to our liking such that a very hot dish could be made milder if required, and one friend wanted a starter served as a main course which was no problem at all. I had Peshawari Lamb Tikka as a starter which I finished off in no time as it was so tasty and I was hungry, I then started on both of my friends’ fried Haloumi Pop which I wanted to taste (I don’t really like cheese) but it was so more-ish that I ended up finishing off both lots as they were very large helpings and my friends aren't as greedy as me! It was even tastier dipping the chunks into the 3 chutneys/sauces which were put on the table. For the main course we had two prawn curries, the prawns were really fat, juicy and mouth-watering, and the Murgh Malai starter as a main course which I didn’t taste but my friend took no time in finishing and enjoyed it. We had a rice dish each, I had Mushroom rice (just for a change) which was nice. We didn’t really want a dessert (as we were full up) until a choice was put in front of us – chocolate cake, white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake and I think a peanut and toffee cheesecake. Two of us had the wht choc and rasp cheesecake which was scrumptious and the other pistachio ice cream. We really had no problem in finishing all of it!! We also had a nice bottle of SA Chardonnay for under £13 which is very good value for a restaurant. All in all it was a very pleasant experience and we’ll be going back again very shortly.
