Really good restaurants might be in short supply in Lewisham – Rox Burger is among the few leading the way. Winner of New Openings’ “London’s best burger” competition in March 2016, Rox Burger was awarded “best rated burger in the UK” in 2015 by TripAdvisor. No mean feat. It was time to check it out for ourselves. On arrival, our table for six is ready – it’s on the mezzanine, accessible by a spiral stairway. A great use of limited space, we welcome the privacy of having our own little dining room and – as there are two kids in our party – the freedom to move about in the space...
I'm a huge burger fan and search for burgers. One Sunday afternoon I decided to visit Rox Burger and I wasn't disappointed! The burgers are delicious, succulent, tasty not too overdone and a generous size too! I've never been a fan of chips coated with rosemary but these are so tasty. Another thing I may add is the service was lovely, friendly and very fast. Best of all it’s very well priced compared to places like Byron etc. We ate twice in the restaurant which was nice.
Having heard great things about the ‘Rox Burger’ and first time tasting and it was pure pleasure. My friends suggested me ‘Rox Burger’ and that was one of the best suggestions from my friend list. Great setup, fabulous food and nice behavior of staff. The price is not high at all as compared to quality and taste.

I went to Rox Burger for a lovely dinner after a hard day of activities. I ordered the blue burger (something along those lines) with a chicken patty. It was a stunning and unique taste - the burger wasn’t fried and it tasted so fresh. The chips were delightful and the food was prepared quickly. What’s astounding to me is that the waiter is also the chef! He’s super friendly and tended to our needs whenever required (was attentive to our tap water bottle). Overall I highly recommend this establishment for whatever occasion you may have in mind.

Excellent grilled chicken burgers made fresh to order. Service was fast , food was tasty. Even gave a free cup of tea to finish !
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food at this burger place. The beef was cooked to perfection, perfectly medium. Despite passing by this place countless times during my bike rides, I only decided to try it today.
My main critique is not about the food itself, but rather the service. It seems that the staff could benefit from some additional training to enhance their skills.
Overall, I had a great dining experience in terms of taste, but I believe the service could be improved.
From Lee high road.. to up the Creek.. to your beautiful new home on the river gardens walk… I have followed you loool. I am so pleased the the food quality and taste has not changed! Me and my partner visited today and had such a lovely time… very quiet today but clearly a lot of online orders! The restaurant is beautiful and clean.. thank you for a lovely dinner!!
