A very inexpensive place to drink and eat in Ealing (well it's a Wetherspoons, so wouldn't expect it to be pricey). Service is always good, very mixed age groups seem to frequent the place whenever I go and over the years I've never had a negative experience there. The price is typical Wetherspoons fare but good value for what you get. There's no music here so this is one of the few pubs locally where you can actually have a conversation with your friends and not have a sore throat the next day from having had to shout across the table to be heard. Bar staff and door staff are always professional and friendly. The only negative it having the toilets upstairs which can be a pain for anyone who struggles to climb stairs but isn't disabled (I don't know if there is actually a disabled toilet there). Handy that there are quite a few tables to sit outside for most of the evening if you're a smoking and watch the world go by. Long may the Sir Michael Balcon remain in Ealing!

As far as I can tell, this pub fulfils on all three criteria:

1. Good wholesome fresh food prepared by an expert chef to your specification.
2. Friendly, efficient and attentive service, nothing is too much trouble.
3. Affordability, which means that one can go there on a regular basis and sample the many dishes on offer on the menu.

A good place to grab a meal or a drink if you are waiting for a night bus ride!

As a UWL student, this branch of Wetherspoons is my go-to place. Being a scotch lover, they always have a bottle of Johnnie Walker stashed at the back. You need to ask for it, then only do they serve it. Weird right?

Their pub food is quite good too and the happy hour means extremely cheap booze (well not exactly but it's pretty much the same as getting a free drink or half priced). You can double up your drink for cheap too.

The nicest thing is that even though we tend to get rowdy and noisy, they don't mind it.

They also have a lot of beer festivals, the recent one also served chocolate beer, which my friends quite liked (I absolutely hate beer).

It's a good and economical experience over all, to visit this place.

The best part: There are chicken shops around for the post drinking hunger and lots of buses that go to places, as well as the Ealing Broadway station.

Very good prices on food. Service was a little slow and not a lot of personality to the pub but overall not too bad. Great views for people watching just inside.

It's definitely a great Wetherspoons pub, anytime you wanna enjoy normal price drinks and food!! It was not my first time in there, and it was definitely not the last! I found the new system of half terrace for smoking and the other half for non-smokers as before you had to go out to have a cigarette. Great drinks and food is on point, also very nice system that you can order from the app, and there's no need to go to the bar. Desserts also fantastic!

The good food in addition to the service and the lovely atmosphere especially in the evening make it worth the visit.

This is a very good Wetherspoons pub compared to some of its sister pubs. Clean and tidy, decent menu and the usual well priced drinks. Also a good area to sit outside as well.

Wetherspoon, always my favorite but this tike they acted strange. I was with my wife, daughter and a friend and were having shots but they refused to give us more shots after two rounds. Though we were behaving pretty decent but I don't know why they did this. They have added a couple of more dishes in their menu. Tried them and liked it.

Been coming here now for a while, prices are excellent and not sure why more don’t drink / eat here. Half the price of other bars in Ealing. Atmosphere is really good and outside area is great if the weather is good. Beer for £2.50 a pint and a nice bottle of wine for £10 or £12 for the expensive stuff! Worth the bus ride / walk into Ealing. I recommend you give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Great Wetherspoons pub and superb value with drink and food offers. The female members of staff are friendly, polite and accommodating. Even on weekends, food and drinks have never been longer than a 10 minute wait after ordering through the App.

Another standard Spoons with the usual food on offer. You can’t knock the chicken wrap, salad and a pint for less than £8, especially given the prices in the surrounding area. On a hot day too the air con was a God send, so a good place to come to cool off if needed. Solid rather than spectacular.

There is a lady that works here, I think her name is Beth. She is so attentive and amazing at her job - her customer service is the best and she makes you feel so welcome. All of the staff are friendly too. Good Spoons!

A weatherspoons pub. Roomy with decent decor. Great value for money and a decent service. There is also a weatherspoons app so you can order in advance. To give you an example of value for money, Tuesdays is steak day. You can order an 8oz steak meal with a drink for under £9.
