As good as their coffee and hot chocolate tastes, their pasta and pizzas are not as great. They also force you down to a tip by manually writing service charges on the receipt which is not very legit if you asl me. That said their service is good but their food needs improvement. Some of their veg pizzas only come with cheese and Raw leaves as a top up to the pizza. Avoid them.

My favourite cafe in Canary Wharf hands down! Though Taylor St also has a pretty good cappuccino, I prefer the more robust coffee taste of Brera's which is a great morning pick me up. Not to mention all the great food they serve - whether it's the cookies or panini/pizza. As someone from Portugal I also really appreciate that they have "Bolos de Arroz" and "Pasteis de Nata". Plus they often have free samples out which has many times made me come back to get a full sized treat.
Only negative in my opinion is the service which is often a little disorganised, sometimes bordering on rude when it's really busy.

There are 3 Brera locations in Canary Wharf and due to my husbands obsession with their delicious coffee (he says they are hands down the best) then we will always gravitate towards Brera over any of the other numerous coffee shops dotted around the Wharf.
Had a slight communication break down today as we prefer our coffee served in the paper to go cups and yet were given the large mugs and long spoon (Brera trademark) Our latte wasn't as hot as it usually is, but service at this location was much quicker than at the other two. It seems this location is a little hidden in the mall, although it has by far the largest seating area.
We didn't have time for any food today, although the muffins are very tempting. In fact, they have numerous items on display that look yummy but oh so many calories! We do love their panini and baguettes as they always look so inviting and taste very fresh.
