About 35 of us had a great Nawabi dinner of Old Dhaka at Grand Nawab tonight. The food is just perfect. An absolute pleasure to be here tonight.

Lovely authentic Bangladeshi food. Went there for a late evening meal with family - we were not disappointed. Staff were helpful and attentive. Clean warm ambience. Attention to detail and thought has gone into trying to provide a good customer experience. We loved the Shatkora Chicken and the Mango Lassi. So good we asked for an extra takeaway portion. Best of luck to the owner (whom I must say is vastly experienced and has set up several other well established venues). Well done. Ps no need to travel further a field for traditional Bengali food - its here on the local doorstep.

This is the best Bangladeshi cuisine I have eaten out. The food is extremely good I have been twice now and it's been consistent both times. The kachi biryani and murug pulao are absolutely beautiful dishes. Not to mention the richness of the beef and lamb kala bhuna. The naga king prawn bhuna is my favourite. Could eat this every single day!
