In the beautiful city of Bath and while going through the most scenic lanes we came across Pizza Express and since it was lunch time we all decided to dine in here. This branch is smaller then most of the ones I have been too & it was very difficult to fit our family of 8 especially upstairs so the staff accommodated us in the basement which is used only if the upstairs is full or if there is some party or function.

The staff was friendly but very slow service from making the table to getting the bill everthing was pretty slow and even the food was served cold. After going through the menu we decided to place the order for the starters first which was Bruschetta Con Funghi. This dish was mouth watering. From the soft bread to the amazing tasty sauce this dish was divine. It was very different from the usual starters I go for mostly when I am at Pizza express. For our mains we ordered a variety of finger licking dishes like Calzone Verdure, Pollo Pesto, Pollo Forza, Veneziana and Margherita. The Calzone had a delicious filling of Salmon and tasted absolutely delectable. The Pollo Pesto was a pasta with white sauce and Salmon which was also a great tasting dish, it reminded me of my favourite pasta which my mom use to make for me. The Pollo Forza and Veneziana were the two Pizzas which we ordered, both of them were good but my favourite was the Pollo Forza since it was spicy and had loads of different vegetables and a nice soft base layered with tasty tomato sauce. On the other hand the Veneziana Pizza was also flavoursome it had Pine-nuts and was so scrumptious.

Even though we all were full with the mains we still couldn't resist ourselves from the desserts. For our desserts we had Chocolate Fudge Cake, Cheesecake and Picollo Sundae with Bambinoccino. All the Desserts were decent not really amazing since I have had much better ones. The presentation of each item was really great but in taste they all tasted pretty basic. From the menu we could not order most of the Desserts since they were short of Vanilla Ice Cream so we had to opt for the other available options.

The service was very slowly and the waitress took her own sweet time for almost everthing. The food was served cold which was not a nice thing especially when you are having dishes which have cheese since it starts to get chewy. The quantity of dishes were excellent and could be easily shared between two people. This branch excepts Taste card which helped us to get a good discount on the bill.
