This was a pleasant find whilst in London, 2/3 years ago. Have been back a few times more since and have always enjoyed the food. A high end venue serving wonderfully tasty French cuisine and it would be hard to pick anything that would be bad. The breads they serve you are absolutely gorgeous and always warmed up. One of my favourite breads was a croissant style bread. The decor is sumptuous and the service impeccable. The noise levels were low so that there was no need to go above a normal speaking tone.
My cousin worked here as a chef so she took me along time try out the cuisine. They treated us extremely well (as expected), and provided us with complimentary glasses of champagne.
The servers were attentive but not too attentive, which did not make them overbearing (which might be the case in high-end restaurents like these).
We got about 4 starters, 3 mains, and 2 desserts and were extremely satisfied at the end, to say the least. A good mix between meats, vegetables, raw, fried, and hot vs cold temperature foods were offered. The display of the food was art, which basically tempted me to get my iphone out.
The art work was classy but not overbearingly so (how one might feel where they dare not walk for fear of breaking antiques).
Overall, great experience!
A unique dining experience that challenged me to have food that I had never tried before. The waiter was brilliant in explaining what everything on the menu was and made me feel reassured with my choice. A bit on the expensive side, but worth it as a one off!
