I stumbled across Ranya Cafe by accident. I almost went into a posher looking place opposite, but I'm so glad I didn't. I've sampled most cafes in the area but this might be the best coffee I've had for a very long time and it was £2. I asked the owner how he achieved such high quality and he gave me a whole back story about the suppliers, the grinding time, the amounts they keep in the hoppers, way too much detail to relay here. And then there was the food. The falafel wrap was excellent, a really wonderful combination of sauces and spices, served warm with really fresh salad inside. I sat out the back in the sun, amongst the bright cushions, immersed in a lovely friendly atmosphere. This place is run by people who care, it's not slick and fancy but it delivers big time on the things that matter, high quality food, respectful service and coffee to die for.
I found Ranya cafe after doing a Google search and went to find a lovely internet cafe. Really good service, the man even gave me a plastic wallet to keep the documents in I printed. Trusted place ♥️
The place does lovely coffee, sweets and sandwiches for such good value for money. It’s a true community cafe, with internet stations for people who need to get online. The chef is so welcoming all the time and goes out of his way to make sure everyone gets what they like.
We had ice coffees (which were frothy and creamy), and toasted paninis which were delicious and filling
