I had just recently moved to the area and was overwhelmed with the options for fried chicken on romans road. I wanted to give them all a fair go so tysons was my second closest option, and thus my second choice. my first choice was a competitor that is situated very close to tysons. and my experince was very bad. i arrived at tysons and ordered a similar meal the first. wings meal and a burger. overallm both were very good. burger had a good fillet, and a fair portion of lettuce and mayo. a good burger for what you pay. the wings (and breasts/thighs) were tasty, crunchy and of a good size. chips were solid and the value of the meal overal was very fair. Tysons certainly isnt the best chicken shop in town but certainly better than the rival next door. i will endeavour to try the other options on roman road but so far, tysons is number 1. and this is a completely unbiased opinon.
Ate here on route to the London Stadium for a West Ham game. When walking from Stratford (the way they want you to walk) there are only the official corporate outlets selling hand burgers and hotdogs for £7-£8 a go! Outrageous. Approaching the ground form behind discovered this gem. No queues, plenty of seats to eat in comfort and a full meal for £3. Can't argue with that, tasty food and will return
If you want chicken with character this is the place to go. Top quality product and service with a smile. Also 10 wings fries and a drink for three thirty nine! ps dat gravy nom nom nom
