I had sweet potato chips with Cajun seasoning and truffle sauce topped with vegan bacon sprinkles. All of which were really tasty. The staff were really friendly and provided me samples to help me choose the toppings I wanted. It was a great experience and I will definitely be coming back. The portions are very generous so people with big appetites will love it.
Britain loves chips. Chips and gravy. Cheesy chips. Chips and curry sauce. We have them for dinner, when we are drunk at 3am and when we are hungover.
ChipNation has taken that idea and multiplied it by 1000. It's a 'build-a-chip' concept so you choose your chip (potato, sweet potato or halloumi) and then you for extra you can add spices, then sauces - both hot and/or cold - and finally toppings. The big pull for me was the range of vegan options, both in terms of sauces and even vegan cheese and vegan bacon bits. There's something here for everyone, and I defy you not to want to return just to try a different combination of flavours.
It's not super cheap, especially if you go all out with sauces but the portions are generous and the food tasty. And really, you can make it as cheap or expensive as you like depending on your choices.
We will definitely be back and we hope more people visit this little shop.
Quite good chips. They have Hellman's mayonnaise and few homemade variations of it. There is wide range of toppings and sauces. Unfortunately there's nowhere to sit (few bar stools and holders for cones would do the job) Chips were good, but quite soggy, not so crispy like Belgian Frites.
