Delicious dishes throughout!
I tried the fried cauliflower, meat skewers, chickpeas and honey chicken with Nan and I can recommend all of them, especially the chickpeas. Next time, I would additionally order something with more sauce to enjoy the Nan even more. I'm sure the waiters can recommend something suitable as they are well organised and friendly. Additionally, the kitchen works very quickly (15 minutes for all dishes on a Sunday evening at 8:30).
I'm not an expert, but I wouldn't call the food super typical Indian. I think it's more adapted to the London palate (and also to the London wallet) but: still very spicy if you want and just delicious and absolutely recommendable. I had a lovely evening and would visit again š»
Probably the best Indian restaurant around. My husband says so, and it's his fave food. Our Indian friend says so. My son who went with me this time said it was the best meal he'd had in a long time. I'm not a huge fan of Indian food, and I love it. Should have remembered not to get the onion rings as they are just not the best thing there. The cauliflower thingies we're amazing. Spinach and lentils to die for. Just everything and anything is top notch. Go!
My brother came here last year and highly recommended this place. I don't like to always admit he is right, but he was.... on this occasion, at least!
Not a single bad word to say about the food or customer service.
Advice would be to ensure you book like he did as it was constantly busy although a weekday.
The atmosphere was wonderful, but being me, I looked everywhere, and the ceilings especially could do with some love. More pics of food were taken, but he was acting camera shy so limited.
My advice would be to try something you wouldn't usually order from an Indian restaurant, and I'm sure you will be pleasantly surprised.
