I don't know what I expected, but it was quite like Indian food fusion. It was tasty none the less. The papri chaat was my least favourite I felt like there was a LOT of papar but it was tasty. My burger was nice, but I didn't enjoy the sweet bun. My favourite was the paratha roll. STUNNING. Absolute winner. Defo try. The chicken was real good. And the pistachio milkshake was quite nice but I'd try the other bagged juice next time too. Staff really polite and friendly too.
I went to FiLLi Cafe for the first this Saturday afternoon.
The location is very convenient, since it’s right next to Marylebone station.
The FiLli Cafe specialises in Indian Street Food and Chai.
I spoke with one of the cafe staff. He told me that the Cafe is relatively new. It opened a 1 year and a half.
The staff there were also very friendly and kind.
The cafe is quite huge. There’s two main big sitting area. The furniture is comfortable and cosy, and the decorations is very nice to look at for your eyes.
The atmosphere is relaxed. In the background, you can hear nice tradition Indian music.
I chose their famous karak chai. It was such tasty delight that tasted nice and warmed up my body. The chai was ideal in this rain Saturday weather.
I stayed there for about an hour, and would have stayed longer if I could.
I’ll definitely be going back to FiLLi Cafe when I’m near Marylebone station.
Recommend people to visit FiLLi Cafe.
Conveniently located next to Marylebone station, this Indian cafe serves fantastic chai and even better food. The Paneer Kathi roll had a buttery, flaky exterior with delicately charred paneer pieces and tantalising mint chutney contained within.
