Since my commute to work involved passing by this place daily, it became a regular evening snack joint for me. Great for a quick bite and easy on pocket. Pizza slices are soft and fresh and taste great too.
I am also a big fan for pretzels and you can get one soft pretzel here for just a pound.
So apparently, anyone who’s been to Hammersmith is awfully familiar with the Hasty Tasty Pizza place, or just known as the pizza place. Everything is so greasy and shiny and delectable. I wasn’t even hungry but couldn’t pass up the opportunity to sample what looked like a Bakers Delight on steroids. The baked hot dog bun was some £2.40 and is a mini baguette with a pork sausage and abashed lashings of cheese. The bread is warm enough (can vary, I’m told) and the baked cheese is delightful. The bun has some softness under it’s crusty exterior and the sausage is satisfying, although not in considerable abundance. Of the options the hot dog bun appeared to have a hell of a lot less oil than the pizza ones. A handy little commute bite that delivered on the facets of carbs, meat, heat and cheese. Yum.
The shop name caught our attention and the small pizzas on the counter looked impressive enough for us to queue up. They make their pizzas there in small oval pans and even though you may not get the hottest pizza, they are still soft and taste great! Good variety and good price. I liked their pocket packaging as well which made it easier to eat. You have a few vegetarian options as well here.
