I really loved eating here.
Authentic and green food
Mash in particular was amazing
Hang out here to catch a superb brunch , a energising walk through the greenery and historic knowledge gain
Kenwood is a fantastic place to stroll around and the cafe is on the grounds of the stately home heritage site making it a refreshing change of scenery to have a coffee in the city. They do soups, salads, sandwiches and pastries. In the summer, take an ice cream for a walk around the landscaped gardens.
Brew house's biggest advantage is the place it's located at. Kenwood estate is the one of the prettiest places in North London. (Parts of Notting Hill were also shot here) Away from tourist traps, these greens are just beautiful. And if you are visiting Kenwood house (which is a great museum with plenty of good paintings) combine it with a visit to the Brew.
Their lunch menu is limited, and the food is just average. You can choose from sandwiches, soups and sausages.
Although what I really love at this cafe is their coffees and cakes. They make the perfect mocha and I loved their pineapple upside down cake and also spicy carrot cake. Absolutely delicious.
All in all, Brew House very well makes up for the average food with the gorgeous setting it is located at.
Please note, the Kenwood house is closed for renovations until Autumn 2013, but the Brew is open.
