One of the best value for money poke bowls in London🥢.
You can be your own or pick one of the classics.
There are a lot of options: tuna, chicken teriyaki, tofu, salmon in yuzu, miso aurbegines.
Prices around £8-£11.
Outside tables, but please be aware there are limited spaces.
Very speedy service and a large array of proteins, greens and toppings. The lunch time queue moved very quickly, and the service inside is friendly and efficient. I had a look at the online menu beforehand, but this is different to the menu board in the restaurant which I wasn’t expecting and so I had to quickly change and do one of the ‘build your own Poke bowl’ which worked out well, and was £9.45 for a regular bowl with salmon. The price is based on the protein you choose, and I think the greens and toppings are unlimited.
I opted for sushi rice with marinated salmon, Yuzu dressing, Goma wakame seaweed, pickled carrot, pickled ginger, edamame, red cabbage, topped with crispy shallots, sesame seeds, and spring onion which I really enjoyed.
Though tasty, I think it’s a little expensive, and I’ve had better - and larger - sushi bowls in London for £8.
Delicious healthy food; so many topics; pretty reasonable price for quality food in central London.
Staff are nice but a little rushy, even though I was the only customer in store. Decently helpful staff also.
You can swap out toppings if you don’t like something on their pre-made bowls. If you swap out a non-premium topping you can’t pick the avocado or aubergine or salmon/tuna.
The seating here is pretty bad. Inside, you have small counter style seats, but they have really flimsy unstable swings for you to sit on. They look cool, are fun, but if you want to sit and work while you eat, it’s near impossible. Also kind of hard to bend your arms and eat and work with the swings in the way. Not practical.
There are two indoor counter chairs that are normal. There’s normal outdoor seating too.
You can add as many sauces as you like at the counter, like itsu. They have teriyaki, sriracha (original), sriracha Mayo, wasabi Mayo, and light soy sauce- they’re all house sauces it seems.
