In this office area I thought I'd have a hard time finding something really good to eat but I found that Pure is a good cafe to either sit in or pick up from for lunch. The idea behind the restaurant is to make healthy and fresh food which is why they make most of the food on the day. They have a good salad bar where you can make your own salad and they also have some nice sandwiches.
Their coffee is not the best but I recommend trying the chai tea latte which I really liked. I also think their ginger bread loaf is really tasty!
One of the best sandwich places I've been to. Food sold at a decent price. Sandwiches and wraps cost under £6. Clean environment and friendly staff. The restaurant itself is fairly small and always busy, but there's an eating in place big enough to allow you to have lunch with two other people.
I have tried their prawn wrap and it is by far my favourite thing for lunch. I love going there on my lunch break and would recommend this place to everyone.
This is a cafe on neglected Cheapside ( which has never recovered since the pandemic).
I like going to this Pure branch, for it's quiet, peaceful ambience, and the rather eccentric staff! I've never had a full meal here, just snacks and desserts ( not a big choice). But there are healthy - looking salads for a full lunch.
Sort of three and a half stars, as there are plugs to charge my phone with, and the vibes from the staff are friendly, if at times trippy.. are they pleasantly stoned??
