Stopped in to Yo! Sushi while in Victoria train station in London UK while travelling back to Gatwick to fly home. My girlfriend and I thought we'd get some sushi before our train.
The food was made well and was tasty. Nothing special but not bad in any way. The manager was very friendly and helped up with the way things work there, as it is a "conveyor belt" style sushi place.
Overall the sushi was good, albeit a bit expensive. Would probably not go back there if I were ever in the UK again but not because of the food quality, more so for the expensive prices for the rolls and sushi offered.
Yo! Sushi is pretty much the same wherever you go: decent enough sushi that is presented to you on a conveyor belt, which makes the eating experience that little bit more interesting.
The cost of the meal depends on how expensive your taste is, I usually have a number of different coloured plates in front of me (different colours are worth different amounts, which can be seen in the menu). I tend to star my meal with one or two green plates; with edamame and seaweed salad, and then follow it up with a selection of orange and purple plates, and perhaps the occasional gray one.
The quality of the fish is always decent but I feel that the rice is often undercooked. But sometimes it is nice to visit a Yo!Sushi were the experience is guaranteed to be good, rather than venture into an unknown establishment. So if you are not in the mood for a risk, but crave sushi, I would send you this way.
Good branch on the first floor of Victoria station. Service was good. On Blue Monday, the range of sushi on the belt seemed a little limited. However service for hot dishes on demand was great. Ramune or marble soda was refreshing.
