This is, by far, the highest quality food I have had served to me in any restaurant in East Anglia. It is only a small place, but the surroundings give a traditional feeling and the food is exquisite.
Everything I try (and I do like to try everything) is always fresh and there are some traditional items you never normally see served. Everything is clean and tidy and the staff are very friendly and polite. Worth every penny.

High quality food, prepared to order in no-frills cafe environment. Very friendly and accomodating (ie: made agedashi dofu without bonito for my vegan daughter). Excellent fish at room temperature, perfect rice, really good value bentos. Lived here 22 years waiting for somewhere like this and now it's 90 seconds from our front door.. ★★★★★

We had another really enjoyable meal here last night- food always great, service and atmosphere really nice. The expanded alcohol menu is welcome too!
