The Lighthouse Fish Bar in Tooting Bec not only has good food, but very friendly staff.

My girlfriend and I regularly get fish and chips on a Friday and we always receive our food with a smile. The food has been consistent and the fish batter is excellent. The chips are ALWAYS crunchy which is excellent. Saveloys and mushy peas are on point too.

MOST IMPORTANTLY!!!

Lighthouse Fish Bar will make you a cheeseburger with lamb donner meat on it! I have struggled with the takeaway next door (Gourmet 2) who REFUSE to put lamb donner onto a beef burger. Who knows why (See my review of Gourmet 2 for my theories). The donner burger which I had the other day was so good (see picture) that it inspired me to write this review.

Great experience. Chips were lovely, very hot and fresh. Limited seating in the store, one table of two and then another table for four. Service was really good, greeted on arrival and departure. Really good menu offering all the traditional chip shop items. 🤩

Best food in town! Everything is cooked absolutely fresh and tastes amazing! We came a week or so ago and ordered the fish and chips and also the fried chicken. So good! The place is very sanitary and welcoming. The employees are great as well. Shamz-Rafael (I think his name was) helped me and my brother out and let us even taste the fried chicken. It was very delicious and he had absolutely the best customer service and satisfaction! Very kind. Thank you again!!!
