So I've been frequenting this place for some time now, and every single time I have not been disappointed. From its friendly staff to its delicious food (not super cheap, but not super expensive either), The Book Club is the ideal place if you're looking to settle in for a few hours, get work done, enjoy a cold cider and have a good meal while you're at it. Yes, it gets pretty noisy and crowded once the evening after-work crowd comes in in the droves, but between 10am to 4pm is the sweet spot. Best parts of this place? The light, airy space, the great staff, the relaxed atmosphere, and the sense that you're welcomed here, even if you do stay for quite a number of hours (I tend to do that). Great place. Can't recommend it enough.
I found a engagement ring in the toilets yesterday , handed the ring to staff behind the bar, and very pleased ring was reunited with owner within minutes, a good deed done by all
Amazing place 5 stars all the way ! friendly staff and the event was great too!! I had fun even though I went by myself !! Attended fright night and it totally rocked and so did my lecturer!!! lolz
