I love this place. Great fish and chips.. I have been coming here for a few years now and the food has always been brilliant. I don't usually leave reviews but a meal I had hear on Friday was so good that I felt I really should.
Although there are cheaper fish and chips around, those at the Beach Hut are well worth the extra pound or two. Very fresh fish and cooked perfectly. It's also well worth trying their oysters if you eat in.
This is the best fish and chip shop in London, in my humble opinion.
Scrumptious. This is now a regular of mine, lovely staff (especially Henry) lovely fresh fish , light melt in the mouth batter & perfect crispy chips with a fluffy centre Mmmm oh and hey it's bring your own , how nice is that pop in the offy two doors down and bring your own booze they don't charge corkage(why not?) a very good night out and such a nice atmosphere of background music, jazz, madness .......etc
Fantastic stuff despite some caveats. Okay - this place obviously rules - but they need to get some proper extraction in there. If it's in autumn/winter/spring and you're eating in, generally the door is shut and every piece of clothing you wear ends up stinking.
Other than that, lovely people, great good, reasonably priced.
