This place has a spectacular lunch special between noon and 4. The highlight of dining here was the starters. My table sampled just about all of them and most were very flavorful and unique. We enjoyed them more than the main courses, which were well-prepared, but not quite as flavorful or interesting. Service was a 7 out of 10. I'd definitely recommend this place!

Have been coming to Efendi for a good couple of years now. Real quality Turkish food. The mixed kebab is just sublime.

SPOT ON!! Absolutely delicious! You KNOW they're using quality ingredients. Ordered a lamb shish and it was just perfect. The meat was tender, succulent and lean. The open charcoal grill is the BEST way to cook skewers, hands down. Vegetables were fresh and ripe. The service was impeccable. Offered me and my mate a complimentary Turkish tea while waiting for our order. When I enquired about the donar (which I usually avoid in most places) the server explained the chef actually hand makes that fresh daily from select cuts of lamb, not some greasy, frozen, moshed up mystery meat. We were offered a taste and I was almost ready to swap from the shish but glad I had both. They were SO good!! Can't say enough about this gem. Excellent value for the price. WOW!!!

We have been living around the corner from Efendi for a while now and never visited until today and now wished we had discovered it sooner. We shared the efendi platter and had hummus on the side with home made bread. Everything was cooked perfectly and delicious, the bread was amazing. All for a great price and lovely service. Definitely making this a regular visit.

I go here for the doner wrap. You get loads and it's so well priced. Occasionally I'll get the lamb stew, and again, great meal, great price. Love the relaxed atmosphere.

Nice open spacious restaurant with friendly staff and a decent traditional Turkish menu. Lots of menu variety means there's plenty new to try

This corner cafe morphed from a coffee/cake shop into a fully fledged restaurant serving European contemporary fare. The brunch menu boasts some specials alongside traditional plates like eggs benedict and smoked salmon wtih scrambled eggs. The coffee is brilliant and the vibe is very friendly and cosy. Dinner is great value too given the portion sizes and the consistent taste they offer. Try it!

Beautiful little restaurant - fresh roses per table, bottles of mint-infused water, and mismatched vintage wooden tables'n'chairs - that was sadly a little empty on a freezing Wednesday night. I'm not sure why, because the fresh pie'n'pudding deal with a bargainous £16 - and my chicken and tarragon pie with shortcrust pastry was delicious. The sides of minted new potatoes, perfectly crumbly and garlic kale (£3.50 each) were decent too, and only the brownie/salted caramel ice cream pudding was good rather than excellent. I'll definitely be back to check out their brunch menu.
