Rosa's in Chelsea is a nice casual establishment amongst a sea of pretentious restaurants. Not too pricy, and excellent quality!
My party of 4 enjoyed the calamari, chicken wings and spring rolls. The calamari (which I devoured almost entirely on my own) where delicious. They had a nice almost sweet flavour, and avoided the dreaded gummy texture you find at so many restaurants these days.
I had the chicken pad Thai, which was large and in charge. Initially, it was bit too spicy for my taste, but the kitchen very kindly remade mine to be less spicy and I really appreciated the correction as I had not specified that I wanted it mild.
My friend had the beef massaman curry, and I snuck a cheeky bite. Perfectly spiced and tender.
All and all, this is a must for anyone looking for a relaxed evening.
Another success for Rosa's as it moves west. Great to see this new branch open closer to our suburban home. We've loved Rosa's since it opened in the East End and long been fan's of Saiphin Moore's menus.
We had a great visit to this new site with an updated and slightly upmarket feel, combined with a cocktail bar for a pre dinner drink. The menu had all of our favourite dishes with a couple of new additions - the seared tuna looked and tasted great. My wife chose her usual sea food in butternut squash (Hok Mok) and was delighted to find it as good as that offered at the more central Rosa's. The service was attentive and made sure we had a good meal.
I'm sure we'll be back soon to sample some of the other delights. The restaurant was pretty busy even though it's only been open for a week, so we'll have to book to ensure a table.
I had a wonderful time at this restaurant! Fel, our friendly waitress, made our visit even better. The egg fried rice with chicken was absolutely amazing, and the service was quick. The ambiance was just right. I'll definitely be coming back!
